Meditation Courses: 16 Credits
13 credits from the following required courses:
CCÂ 520 (3 Credits) Buddhist Meditation I
CC 525 (3 Credits) Buddhist Meditation II
CC 535 (3 Credits) Topics in Meditation
CC 570 (3 Credits) Theory and Practice of Vital Energy I
AMS 555 (0.5 Credit) Journaling, Mentoring, Interviewing (three semesters required for a total of 1.5 credit)
AMS 550 (0.5 Credit) Sitting Meditation (four semesters required for a total of 2 credit)
CC 560 (0.5 Credit) Moving Meditation (three semesters required, for a total of 1.5 credit)
AMS 540 (1 Credit) Summer Retreat I
AMS 610 (1 Credit) Summer Retreat II
3 Credits from the following elective courses:
CC 575 (3 Credits) Theory and Practice of Vital Energy II
CC 610 (3 Credits) Meditation and Contemplative Practice of World Religions
Notes:
CC 520 Buddhist Meditation I must be taken in the student's first semester.
CC 525 Buddhist Meditation II may be taken concurrently with CC 520 with approval of instructor.
CC 570 and CC 575 Theory and Practice of Vital Energy I and II need not be taken in order.
Summer Retreat I must be taken at the facility chosen by the Won Institute.
Summer Retreat II may be at a facility chosen by the student with the approval of the Chair.

Students are required to take CC 520 prior to their Practicum.

Students can fulfill theory credits by Acupuncture Studies or Won Buddhist Studies courses with the permission of the appropriate Department Chair.
